This is really very interesting that Americans are now spending money and utilizing their resources against Pakistan, this is definitely matter of National Interest, as media is an effective tool that can damage the basic infrastructure and if needed it can change the school of thought of the masses.
In this era Media is more like Nuclear War Head, and when Americans are spending 50 Million USD, in the time when their economy is nose diving, this is really alarming and we being journalist's should address and take this issue seriously.
Hiring of Mr. Mushtaq Siddiqui, is definitely noticeable, criminal activities of ARY Group and Haji Sahiban's is now on it's peak, and now they have hired him on the post of Executive Director, while they are facing financial crunch and firing their regular staff, and above of all doing down sizing in all sectors of Media, but they are paying him ample amount and have created special post for him, I don't know what kind of services he had been giving to Americans in the past, and what is his connection with Ramon Davis.
I really am waiting for the dust to be settled and once things get clear we would see the real faces of many honorable individuals working on key posts like Mr. Mushtaq Siddiqui.
Aaj News was punished and Voice of America's transmissions was awarded to other media group now and it is also a clear sign of Mr. Mushtaq's strong ties with Americans.
