In simpler terms - you can think it (UBL hunt down)  as a 'self-defense' by USA, West, Israel,Russia and India.

If you don't kill him, he kills you.

i.e. If you don't make choices, choice gets you. - in fairness.

Death of Usamah Bin Laden: Freedom Fighter or Terrorist? -By Yamin Zakaria....more

UBL's supporters acknowledge that - Taliban-UBL had got the best chance to show case Afganistan as a model Islam state under Shariah, Caliphate model  [ Hizb ut-Tahrir UK :: Islamic Khilafah System is better than Democracy or Dictatorship - argues Dr Abdul Wahid - Chairman of HTB executive committee ....more ] - they screwed it up with their hardline version.

So, this is a real world - the message was clear - kill - hide - kill -hide - sequence won't always work. So, do scientific R&D to gain conventional upper hand over your perceived enemy - look at China.

Until you gain upper hand  - follow the law of the civilized world. period.

While I respect your emotions, I am just trying to tell that - the path of Radical Islam is shortsighted  and defeat is inevitable, in addition to embarrassment to the state who is a part of the civilized world.

You failed to notice the civilian death counts in side Pakistan by these people are - far more than the 3000 Americans.

I do agree with you. Our media people have shown rare sense uncountable times in many sensitive matters.

I still remember the faces of those  Pakistan's filthy TV reporters who dried their throats while proving that al-Qaeda fighters were present in the basement of Red-Mosque before the final assault in  2007.

Media Tribe> Threat reaction of OBL.

OBL chapter closed, but strong recommendation is let's not adopt "CUT SLING" policy for that region.

Eliminating OBL is good but now we have AlQaida's (Afgh Pak) Taliban's new breed gaining momentum in former Russian states, other welcomed regions, and this new wave of terrorists are more radical then world has experienced so far.

AlQaida (Afgh Pak) Taliban's will be looking for self starters young men of all origins to pump their ideology in their minds. We must double our speed and do reach potential victims hearts and minds.

Addressing issues on Corruption, education, employment and "hope" should be main and most critical objective and we must achieve it in that region including in an Arab peninsula.
Let's not repeat the mistakes of 80's. Let's focus on Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. Fixing this unfinished business should be a priority #1.

Sending strong msg to all regimes in region must be a shape up one. Because, their corruption is breeding poverty extremism

Government of Pakistan has not issued any official statement. President zardari is not willing to responsibility and blaming USA for this operation. While ISI and military played significant role.

Pakistan Military and ISI stand by this operations. But political leadership is on loose ground very nervous because AlQaida and Taliban could retaliate.

They are more concern on reaction for allowing US Navy seals operation on soil of Pakistan. Obvious sign of weak Government.

World should now understand the strength of Pakistan Military and their will to fight terrorism.

Pakistan Military could play a significant role for US Quality exit of Afghanistan.

People on ground in Pakistan demand proof of OBL death.

Pakistan media revealed OBL was in Abbottabad for quite some time.

Mood on ground in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is quite tense and will be tense for next few days particularly for Pakistan.

The Pakistanis gave a lead to the Americans last August. This was confirmed in February 2011. On Friday morning on APril 29th, 2011 President Obama ordered the operation.

4 US Helicopters were involved in this covert operation and took off from "Tarbela Ghazi", sources reported.

Pakistani and Middle East Media also declaring President Obama, President of USA for next term.

The man who is responsible for the killing of thousands Americans and thousands of Muslims around the world is dead.

The death of Osama Bin Laden's death is a great victory for people all around the world.

The world will demand proof of this news which has been announced several times before.

There are spontaneous celebrations outside the White House and New York City.

India media propaganda is also at peak on current development
against Pakistan Military and they should avoid unwanted attention and I Pakistan understand their reaction is fabled editorial statements.

The elimination of OBL will dampen the spirits of those that have copied the terror machine.

The Pakistan & US Intelligence Services, and CIA deserves kudos for killing the person that led to unleashing two wars and the Crusades against many Muslim countries.

He was born on March 10, 1957 and was killed on May 2nd, 2011. OBL was the founder of the CIA database which was created to fight the USSR.

The "Database" later deteriorated into a terror organization what is now popularly known as Al-Qaida.

The US went to war against Al-Qadea and has finally got its leader.

There are confirmed reports that this was a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) --Special Operations. Sources reported that the death was not due to a drone attack.

Apparently, OBL was killed with a shot to the head.

The  JSOC is part of the  command of the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and is charged to study special operations requirements and techniques.

It ensures interoperability and equipment standardization, plan and conduct special operations exercises and training, and develop Joint Special Operations Tactics.

US Navy seals conducted the operation.

A helicopter has crashed, which confirms that the Pakistanis were leading the operation.

President Obama hinted that the initial lead for the operation came from Pakistan.

Sources also reported that the Pakistanis were cooperated with the Americans.

Ironically today is the tenth anniversary of "Mission Accomplished".

Al-Qaeda is no longer a threat to the US, and the decapitation of its leader will herald the Post-OBL era. This will give impetus to the US to leave Afghanistan, and expedite the exit.
In a cryptic and short message, President Obama announced that "the US has conducted an operation that has killed Osama Bin Laden.  Obama described the images of 911. Obama said that Osama escaped into Pakistan last August President Obama had gotten a lead to where OBL was. President Obama authorized an operation into Abbottabad (Hazara District) Pakistan.

After a firefight OBL was killed and the US took custody of his body. "The US is not and will not be at war with Islam". His demise should be welcomed from all peace loving people.

President Obama eulogized the Pakistanis and said that they fully cooperated with the Pakistani intelligence services.

President Obama said "Justice has been done".

The justification for the war in Afghanistan has now ended.

After the celebrations are over in Washington, sanity will begin to prevail. Bringing the war to an end will be the best Victory Party there can be.

UNIDO:  Women can help reduce poverty by utilising skills

IWCCI: Economy to remain fragile without women's contribution

Utilizing women's abilities, equal access to financial services, facilities demanded

Islamabad: May 1

Islamabad: Ms Inez Wijngaarde, Senior Industrial Development Officer, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has said that women can help reduce poverty in Pakistan by utilising their skills if economic opportunities are expanded for them.

UNIDO aims at strengthening entrepreneurial and technical skills of women so that they can actively take part in economic activities after becoming more competitive, she said.

Wijngaarde said this while speaking at a meeting of Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) the other day.

She said that we aim to enable disadvantaged population groups to seize economic opportunities by capacity building.

Flanked by Shahina Waheed, National Programme Officer, UNIDO, Ms Wijngaarde said that competition is not a negative word as perceived in many parts of the world. Lack of competition discourages development and investment.

She said that many countries do not have separate business chambers for women like Pakistan which is a very positive development.

She stressed upon the women entrepreneurs to link them to development and tackle issues in a positive way.

"Women should not focus on problems but solutions, try innovation and add value to their products," she advised, adding that getting help of TV and e-marketing has become increasingly important.

She said that UNIDO will start Business Coaching Programmes to enable women develop a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship, business and self-employment to produce tangible results. Another five-year plan is in pipeline for capacity building of women, she informed.

At the occasion, Samina Fazil, President, Islamabad Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) said that she is looking forward for support from international bodies and NGOs in transferring skills and technologies to assist women.

She said that no nation can strengthen its economy without contribution of women. Pakistani women are capable enough but need proper guidelines and access to financial resources.

The current economic situation calls for greater roles of women who constitute 52 per cent of the population but are generally ignored; their contributions often go unrecognized, she said.

Policymakers need to acknowledge the invaluable contribution that women make and devise plans to utilize their abilities by providing equal access so that the trend of providing low-paid, low-productivity and vulnerable jobs with no or little basic rights can be changed, demanded Samina Fazil.
